It still hasn’t really settled in that I’m back at home for so long. It’s really gotten to the point where Los Angeles has become my home and Cleveland is my vacation. I mean, I’m still living out of my suitcases. I may be procrastinating unpacking just a bit…
I’m not going to lie, I am a little disappointed to be home. Of all the places that I have been, Buenos Aires was honestly the most amazing trip I’ve ever been on. The unique combination of traveling with your friends and learning all about the country really made this experience unbelievable. I wish I was going back somewhere new next year with the same amazing group of people that I have grown so close to. I can’t really put into words the memories that I will always keep with me and the life long friendships that I’ve made, so there’s not really a point in trying. I will say this, if you’re a freshman, and you’re considering doing LINC, do it. Freshman year is a year to expand your horizons, and the ridiculous amount of things that I gained from my LINC experience is something I wouldn’t be able to get anywhere other than The Best University In The World (Professor Voigt).
My last thoughts are this: Thank you to everyone that made this trip possible. I know there are so many people to thank for this trip that I will never get to directly say thank you to, but I want all of them to know that their hard work is greatly appreciated. Without the amazing staff and students at USC, the trip would not be the same. I love coming back to Cleveland, but if I could stay in Buenos Aires for just a bit longer, I would (even with the lack of sleep). I can’t wait to hear all about next year’s trip to Buenos Aires.
